The hero Friendly Fire and others from the Ultimate Guardians set the end of July for heroes of all types to gather for a special two-day social event, offering a great chance for all to make contacts and new friends outside of their usual groups and social circles while providing some time off from fighting and arresting VIPER agents. The first day began with a hero costume contest held at the large fountain south-west of the Renaissance Town Centre. The categories were Best Tights, Most Interesting, Best "Chillout", Best Suited to Appear in a Yoghurt Commercial, Mr. Beefcake - Best Male, Ms. Cheesecake - Best Female and Best in Show, with Thundrax, Friendly Fire, Strobe and Angela Gabriel featuring as judges. Winner of Best Tights was Cosmic Glory with an honourable mention to Stargazer.
