So there I was in the area of the Canadian wilderness known as Lynx's Fold banishing great demons in the name of our Lord when as fate would have it, I chanced upon a group of valiant heroes in blue and gold, locked in fiery combat with the Ancient Evil of the North, a demon of ice and snow, whom I have only ever read of in my arcane libraries. He is angered by all that is warm and living, especially hateful of the guardians of life, gods and shamans of old who are of course, the heroes and superheroes of today. The brave band of brothers and sisters who I saw do battle with this Evil were none other than the Ultimate Guardians, a renowned supergroup in this universe who Evea, my guardian angel had actually tasked me to seek out. She believes my destiny lies with these honourable heroes and I dare say, she could be right. After all, what are the odds that our paths should cross as it has this day, fighting side-by-side for the greater good and bringing down one of the world's many cosmic threats. I must enquire about enlisting to their ranks, immediately.
