Qularr Attack

"On this day, some time ago, I was indeed almost eaten by lobster."

I was there in Millennium City when calamity struck. The extraterrestrial race of insectoid known as the Qularr unleashed a devastating surprise attack on Millennium City, cordoning off the area by force field and launching a full scale assault. The Champions headquarters was the first strategic location to fall. Their team were taken by surprise and scattered. Their leader, Defender was nowhere to be found. Civic law enforcement, even with the help of PRIMUS (America's premier anti-supercriminal law enforcement agency) had its hands full trying to keep civilians safe. It was the city’s most desperate hour and would not have survived had it not been for its heroes.

It was on this day that I first met the city's Mayor Calvin Biselle, his daughter Breanna Biselle, Millennium City Chief of Police Chief Surhoff, and a few of the city residents. Adrenaline-loving operative Silver Avenger Mayte Sanchez was a breath of fresh air and pivotal to the mission of save Millennium City. I helped her help the superintelligent primate Doctor. Silverback test out and analyse field equipment corresponding to data he'd collected. He had detected alien energy waves in the city which seemed to be agitating the aliens and possibly even provoked the attack. Silverback needed more data on how they affect the bugs. As it turned out, this energy was so strong it seemed to have driven some of the Qularr insane. As the investigation unfolded, myself and other heroes met with Defender inside the Champions HQ and took down the Black Talon who it appears was behind the whole operation, possibly even under orders from Dr. Destroyer himself. The Qularr mothership was brought down by The Ironclad Defence, a plan which involved literally shooting the invulnerable hero Ironclad out of a giant cannon and through the force-field. The aliens fled and order returned. The day was once against saved through heroic teamwork.

I was one of the many heroes awarded with medals and praised for helping the city heal from the invasion attempt. I even received a key to the city and special citizenship to their world. However, I returned to my home dimension soon after, having stopped villainy, defeated evil and restored order to the cosmic balance. All in a day's work.
